The purpose of our program is to promote positive emotional well-being in clients as well as empower families to provide a nurturing and safe support for their significant others. At Cambridge Recover Sober Living, our mission is to help individuals recover in a safe and supportive sober living environment, and to help them transition into a fulfilling and independent life of sober living.

The Counseling Center is an outpatient treatment center offering both an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and an Outpatient Program to help people recover from substance abuse and cope with mental illness. Programs at The Counseling Center provide evidence-based methods that combine substance abuse treatment with principles of the 12-steps. Treatment is individualized and designed to teach the necessary skills to live a clean, sober and productive life.

We are a a self-pay clinic providing intensive outpatient day treatment and a full range of on-site psychiatric, medical, substance abuse, psycho-social, and rehabilitation services. Our services are available to people 18 years and older. As an integral part of the Columbia Psychiatry network of care, our clients have access to a full spectrum of care, with seamless delivery of services from inpatient to outpatient and from psychiatric to substance abuse and medical services. In an atmosphere of caring support, clients receive personalized, comprehensive outpatient treatment, life skills training, and psychiatric rehabilitation services, with an emphasis on getting back to work, school, and independent living. Treatment is largely provided in a group format, with some clients receiving additional support from a staff Recovery Coach or individual therapist. All clients participating in treatment in the Lieber Clinic continue to be under the care of a primary psychiatrist. Sunrise Detox Toms River is a licensed drug and alcohol medical detoxification facility. Dedicated to helping people who struggle with substance abuse, alcoholism, and co-occurring disorders recover, our staff is made up of caring, and licensed professionals in substance abuse treatment.
