Evolve Arden Oaks provides the highest quality of evidence-based residential treatment for adolescents ages 12-17 struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, self-harming or high-risk behaviors, suicidal ideation, defiance, trauma, aggression, and other emotional/behavioral issues. Our primary modes of treatment are Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), in addition to Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Behavioral Activation, and other data-driven modalities. We believe treatment works best when it is individually tailored. Our clinical staff conducts a comprehensive evaluation of each teen pre- and post-admission to develop a highly detailed treatment plan that considers the patient’s individual history and symptoms. Our robust clinical program includes individual and family therapy, psychiatry, academic support, and daily groups (e.g. DBT Skills Training, Relapse Prevention, and Seeking Safety). We deeply CARE and you can count on us to support you or a loved one with substance abuse or mental health issues. Our full continuum of care includes residential treatment centers, as well as outpatient partial hospitalization programs (PHP), and intensive outpatient programs (IOP), which allow teens to live at home while attending treatment. Alter Behavioral Health - San Juan Capistrano is a short-term crisis stabilization unit (CSU) for individuals struggling with an acute mental health crisis as an alternative to inpatient hospitalization or other levels of care. Individuals generally come to our unit for care after experiencing suicidal ideation, a suicide attempt, severe anxiety, or generally unsafe behavior. In general, we treat individuals who are experiencing one or more of the following disorders: major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety, bipolar disorder, a personality disorder, a dissociative disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
