Alhambra Valley Retreat (AVR) is a 24 hour residential treatment program for adult males suffering from alcohol and/or substance abuse. The program is licensed and certified by the State of California, Department of Health Care Services, and in 2021 received a three year accreditation by The Commission on Accredited Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). AVR is credentialed by Kaiser Permanente as a provider of services to over two million insured clients throughout Northern California. The program accepts all Kaiser clients in this region. AVR also accepts cash pay. The program is designed to treat 6 clients at a time, which allows for individualized treatment plans and personal attention to our resident's needs.The treatment program includes individual, group and family therapy with licensed therapists, addiction educational sessions, and recovery and treatment planning designed to help each client transition back to their community after successful treatment stay.

At Center For Discovery, we provide residential treatment for women with eating disorders, teens with eating disorders, teens with mental health disorders, and teens with substance abuse issues. Each of our locations is dedicated solely to one of our specialized treatment programs. By keeping each location specialized to one of our treatment programs, we are able to provide the most effective and efficient treatment. All of our locations provide treatment for only a small number of residents at one time to maintain an intimate setting and a high staff to resident ratio. Sagepoint Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program (IOP) is Elk Grove's premier provider of dual diagnosis, evidence-based, and trauma informed services for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Sagepoint IOP's multidisciplinary treatment program is designed to provide integrated and high quality therapeutic interventions for adults 18+ diagnosed with a substance use disorder or addiction. Through comprehensive assessments, education, intervention, and treatment, Sagepoint IOP provides clients with the skills and tools for managing harmful substance use behaviors, as well as depression, anxiety, emotions, social interactions and other aspects to assist them in their recovery process. Sagepoint IOP provides a structured program in a warm and welcoming setting, where clients can continue to live at home and/or attend to work responsibilities while simultaneously focusing on their treatment. Sagepoint IOP offers an intensive outpatient program (IOP) that includes three hours of treatment, three days per week.

Our Board Certified Psychiatrists and Therapists are available to help everyday and we can offer same day appointments. Telepsychiatry or Telemedicine uses video link (via computer or smartphone) to offer appointments from home or outside clinic. It offers the option to see a psychiatrist any time as long as you have access to your smart phone or computer.
