The focus of my work is helping individuals struggling with addiction and compulsive sexual behaviors that have negatively impacted their relationships, well being, and career. These kind of issues often involve tremendous pain, guilt and shame. If this is your experience, finding a professional who can provide safety and acceptance is crucial. Having a personal journey in recovery, I am especially qualified to help individuals struggling with addiction find long-term solutions. I am passionate about helping you live a life free of addiction. In addition, I work with people struggling with anxiety, depression and spiritual issues.
Before becoming a professional counselor, I served as a Recovery Pastor walking alongside those on the path to freedom. My primary style of therapy, called Internal Family Systems, helps you identify and heal the conflicting parts of yourself. I bet you’ve had the experience where one part of you wants something while another part wants the opposite.
We all have protective parts, wounded parts, and parts acting out to numb pain. Since much addiction is rooted in trauma and relationship wounds, I help you find ways to heal the parts of you carrying the hurts fueling addiction.
