Welcome to my practice. I have been in practice since 2007 and have been featured on ABC, NBC, and KCAL as an expert psychologist. I work primarily with men who have hit “rock bottom” and would like help getting up. These men are often in crisis when we first meet. The issues I address are typically related to unhealthy sexual behaviors, infidelity, financial recklessness, gambling, drugs/alcohol, dishonesty/lying, and relational conflicts. My therapy approach is a combination of psychoanalytic, cognitive-behavioral, and the 12-Step recovery model. I also share insight from my own painful but redemptive recovery journey.

Many years ago a friend introduced me to their love of mountain climbing. Their love was not from the literal act of gearing up to be in nature, but instead the love of reading and watching the life stories of brave people who were called to the mountains. Over the years I've happily consumed books, movies, documentaries, and social media accounts that chronicled what drove people to challenge themselves and find meaning. I specialize in working with couples, families & individuals seeking Counseling and/or Mediation during various stages of their relationships. I also specialize in Sex Addiction Betrayal Trauma and Infidelity. I work with the partners of a sex addicts. Partners of sex addicts find their lives have been turned upside down. Life as they knew it has vanished. I can help to navigate through this new ground and prepare for disclosure if that is desired by the partner.

The guilt and overwhelm that comes when your attempts to make changes fall short. This is why I believe therapy can be so helpful. My experience includes working in an adult & family clinic, a substance abuse clinic, as a clinical manager in a Fresno based adult/child clinic and in my private practice.
