I've worked with adolescence and families for around 25 years in a variety of settings. These settings include being a youth / children's pastor prior to starting my counseling journey. Much of my experience involves working with those that struggle with abuse, depression, relationship conflict, self harming behaviors, legal issues, and behavior problems. Although I am licensed to practice counseling through the State of Texas, I am a Christian and the fundamentals of my practice are in line with traditional Christian faith.

My approach to therapy involves understanding how difficult experiences from our past can affect the way we feel and behave in the present. Our past experiences are often the reason we sometimes struggle with the same emotional and relationship problems throughout life. It is only through understanding our past struggles can we expect to achieve a lasting and meaningful change in the present.
