I've worked with adolescence and families for around 25 years in a variety of settings. These settings include being a youth / children's pastor prior to starting my counseling journey. Much of my experience involves working with those that struggle with abuse, depression, relationship conflict, self harming behaviors, legal issues, and behavior problems. Although I am licensed to practice counseling through the State of Texas, I am a Christian and the fundamentals of my practice are in line with traditional Christian faith.
Instructed State employees on various aspects of mental health treatment, suicide / self harm, and behavioral issues within the Texas Youth Commission. Provided mental health services for the Juvenile Justice system, Foster Care, private sectors, and have worked with adolescences with diagnosis of Bipolar, Depression, ADHD, Abuse, and a number of other emotional issues.
