Teletherapy for Woodway, TX

My practice is best suited for individuals who are seeking healthier relationships with food, their bodies, and/or exercise. If there is a question as to whether you or a loved on has an eating disorder, I can complete an assessment and then help to provide recommendations on what treatment would be a best fit for you or your loved one's needs. If you have been recommended by another professional to seek treatment and need assistance navigating those choices, I can also provide consultation for the best treatment center fit and assist with the admissions process.

There is no "ideal" client in my books; we are all different and are in need of differing approaches. My role is to meet that need. It is helpful when clients come to therapy motivated for change and open to feedback. Although my specialty is chronic illnesses; I welcome anyone into my practice. I strive to create an inclusive and safe space for my clients.

Erika brought 17 years of experience in education as a school counselor, behavior specialist, and special education teacher into her career as a professional counselor. With 25 years of counseling experience, I want to help you. There are so many issues in life that get in the way and keep you from feeling whole and fulfilled. Depression, anxiety, trauma, disability, change, and many others can make a list that becomes overwhelming to deal with.
