My clinical work is dedicated to working with children, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in working with families, including developmental, behavioral, social, and/or emotional concerns of children, parenting difficulties, and family stress/conflict. I have specific expertise in the field of pediatric (health) psychology and the assessment/treatment of very early children (the first five years). Regardless of age, the goal of care is to decrease distress and increase general well-being and joy.
It is difficult to struggle, or have a child who is struggling, and even more painful to not know how to fix it. I appreciate the opportunity to be on the journey of helping individuals discover how to make things easier and better, so that all aspects of life are more fulfilling.
Many people are uncomfortable with the idea of working with a psychologist, and with sharing personal details and concerns. The feedback I routinely get is that their experience with me is different and so much better than they expected! That is my first goal... and then we can begin.
