I am an ally for the LGBTQIA+ community and a strong supporter of equality in all of its aspects. I believe everyone is a person, and every person needs to be cared for, validated, and supported throughout whatever they are facing in their life. My preference is to focus on the LGBTQIA+ population, mainly because I do not think there is enough allies in the counseling field that have this preference in populations. My goal, is to be a support and assist clients to enable them to make positive changes in their lives. I want them to feel heard and respected, regardless of the issue or struggle they are facing.

I have spent my career devoted to helping the impoverished and providing mental health services to those in need. My Moto has always been, " To him that much is Given, much is Required. I have been a practicing psychotherapist for over 20 years. During this time, I have worked with a wide range of client issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and complex PTSD, with a particular emphasis on severe interpersonal trauma. This type of trauma often results from issues related to adult and childhood sexual/physical abuse, intimacy partner violence, and insecure attachments.
