Welcome! Foremost, my goal is to provide a safe space for individuals and families to learn more about themselves and the current issues that led them to my office. I treat a range of emotional and behavioral concerns in children, adolescents, and adults; I work in individual, group, couples, and family formats. In addition, I provide comprehensive testing, including detailed analyses of attention, social, emotional, behavioral, and personality. My therapeutic technique is integrative; I incorporate research-based methods from the Gottman Method (Level 3 trained), CBT, ACT, interpersonal, and systemic theories.

I believe that we all experience trauma at some point in our lives whether we recognize it or not. Unaddressed and unprocessed trauma affects all aspects of our lives - school, work, parenting and relationships. Initially, my goal is to help individuals understand and identify trauma and how it impacts everyday living. I see individuals, couples and families. I have been a counselor since early 2000 and also began conducting psychological and neuropsychological assessments in 2005. My clients’ ages have ranged from 18 months of age all the way up to 82 years. I have worked extensively with a variety of population groups including sports athletes, law enforcement, domestic violence victims, sexual assault survivors, trauma victims, and traumatic brain injured clients as well. I provide many forms of court ordered evaluations for families in crisis. I am a certified trauma specialist. I also provide EMDR therapy. I hold BBA, Ph.D., CFMHE, & CCCE.
