Welcome! I am accepting new clients, both in person and online. Therapy is a supportive tool that can start as early as 4 and as seasoned as someone in their 80's. Perhaps you are navigating a life transition and are unsure of where to go next? Or you feel ready to process that traumatic experience? My ideal clients are those who show a willingness to have me walk beside them and hold their pain as they seek clarification on the emotions that drive their distress. By seeking treatment to address relationship issues, they discover that other aspects of their experience are influenced by their powerful need to connect with their significant others. I am best suited to treating marital distress and disconnection between teens and their parents. I understand the unique importance of familial relationships and the significant relief that comes when these relationships are repaired.

I love what I do! I am a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and caring individual who has gone through painful life experiences myself and have likewise experienced the freedom and peace of healing. I am an experienced, skillful clinician who treats adults, adolescents, and children who are experiencing anxiety, insecurity, nightmares, depression, emotional reactions to trauma, stress, grief, guilt, and/or anger. I diagnose and treat children's' issues including ADHD, separation anxiety, divorce issues, anxiety, depressive disorders, autistic spectrum disorders, behavioral, social, school, or academic problems. I teach parents to implement structure & behavioral techniques that really work!

As a relational therapist, I believe subconscious beliefs and programming are responsible for many of our self-sabotaging behaviors. These impact our relationships and are typically inherited during our upbringing. I choose to work with clients who are struggling with the same patterns that have plagued them for far too long, and who are looking to make a serious change in their lives. I also work with clients who are simply feeling lost and looking for guidance in finding themselves. My ideal client is anyone looking to empower themselves and care for themselves, or their relationship mind, body, and soul.

I am a pre-licensed professional supervised by Lindsey Heselbarth LPC-S. I use an affirming lens to support children, adolescents, and adults. Services may address neurodivergence, CPTSD, PTSD, chronic nervous system dysregulation, chronic pain, autoimmunity, helper profession burnout, giftedness, parenting, dissociation, and more. I offer virtual appointments to those in Texas and have in-person availability in Hutto.

I am warm, direct and non-pathologizing, helping clients seek practical solutions in the present to deal with challenging problems. My focus is to seek the deeper meaning inherent in problems using humor and honesty. I have strong belief in the strength of human beings and their ability to change and heal. The majority of my clients complete their work in ten sessions. For persons with more complex histories, e.g., trauma, we will work until we are done.

I understand it can be difficult to choose someone you can trust to collaboratively guide you through your healing journey. My role is to meet you where you are in the process, in a non-judgmental and positive way towards the goals or changes you envision as possible. My experience is working with people struggling with Depression and Anxiety. Including Queer/Trans community, multilingual communities, intersectional identity issues, acculturative/cultural stress, identity development, chronically-ill and different-abled community, and Latinx/e community. I provide these services in English and Spanish.

COUNSELING. What does it mean when we hear that word? To some its intimidation, fear, broken, and some may even think judgment. All of those definitions could not be further from the truth. We all have times in life when we need to clarify our perspective on life's challenges and opportunities. Counseling is an avenue to provide encouragement and assistance to those facing various life challenges. Sometimes we are unable to conquer serious challenges alone. I am able to provide the help and support needed to achieve that next level.

I'm here to help people needing support in navigating through life's difficult situations. Do you need help with personal growth, or guidance to feel more like your true self. My aim is to provide a safe space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings to reach your goals. Sometimes talking or seeing things from a different point of view helps ideas fall into place. Natural supplements and coping skills assist with sleeping, pain, and emotional duress. Relationship problems tend to be eased by talking things through and using adapted materials in session and/or homework.

I understand it can be scary and perhaps off-putting to reach out and seek counseling services. However, I sincerely believe the positive outcomes that may follow are well worth taking a chance. It is important to me to remain genuine and to always foster a safe space free of judgement. My first priority is always to establish a connection and a respectful relationship based on honesty, consistency and a sense of humor.
