My ideal clients are those who show a willingness to have me walk beside them and hold their pain as they seek clarification on the emotions that drive their distress. By seeking treatment to address relationship issues, they discover that other aspects of their experience are influenced by their powerful need to connect with their significant others. I am best suited to treating marital distress and disconnection between teens and their parents. I understand the unique importance of familial relationships and the significant relief that comes when these relationships are repaired.
I specialize in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and families. What draws me to this work is how clients feel a difference in session and come away with a new understanding of how their loved ones' intention to connect can be misunderstood. I am also certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with adolescents.
My practice focuses on how emotions play a central role in daily living. I get at the heart of the emotions that create disconnection, anxiety and depression. It is such an honor to witness these changes in my office.
