Hello! I am a therapist, military spouse (recently retired) and Mom of 2. I have a passion for serving families who serve and sacrifice for our nation! For many years I lived the active duty military lifestyle. I know first-hand the pain of infertility as a military spouse and navigated fertility treatments in Military Training Facilities. I have lived through deployments and unaccompanied remote assignments as a young mom while managing home, kids, career and community service to fellow military spouses and families. I know the pain of being away from extended family, frequent moves and all the adventures of service life!

It takes strength and courage to accept when one can't handle parts of life, and so, I commend you. As a therapist, I accompany clients exactly where they are while offering unconditional acceptance and respect without judgement to build a safe and inviting counseling environment. Each client brings a set of unique morals, values, beliefs, and strengths which makes each person who they are. I treat ALL issues from adolescent to elderly within individual, couple, family, or group settings. Chronic Illness, Infertility, Miscarriage, Child Loss, Adoption, First Responders, Trauma, Abuse, Neglect & Adolescents are some of my interests.

I completed the following degrees, licenses, & certifications to provide comprehensive care for clients: Registered Nurse, Functional Medicine Practitioner, Board-Certified Faith-Based Therapist, Psychology Graduate, Licensed Minister, & Certified Life/Wellness Coach. I am fundamentally motivated to lead others to overcome challenges & odds as I serve them by offering advice, education, treatment & emotional support helping to make an impact that produces positive substantial changes in their lives. In addition, I utilize labs and licensed pharmaceutical-grade nutraceuticals to help my clients achieve better health.

My background includes working with adults, adolescents, and children in private practice, school, and facility settings. Clinical Supervisor Wanda Montemayor is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S-AT), a Registered Art Therapist (ATR-BC, ATCS) , a Registered Play Therapy Supervisor ( RPT-S) with a specialty in EMDR and animal-assisted therapy. In addition to her traditional counseling and therapy (talk therapy) methods, she integrates art therapy for her clients, as well as in community art projects throughout her community. Her unique background and experience, along with her diverse toolset, allow her to help clients overcome obstacles, grow, and heal. Wanda is offering in person therapy and teletherapy.
