About
I do believe that we are influenced by social and biological forces, but our life is not fixed because of them. Together we will explore and discover skills and a mindset to cope, resolve, and/or transition into the new chapter that waits. Through our work together, my hope is that you will find meaning and grow from there, not allowing fences that others – or ones you have placed around yourself - to hold you back.
My experience as a personal trainer taught me there are factors in our sense of personal value that transcend the mirror. Recognizing this truth is fundamental to growth and change I embrace growth as I am pursuing a doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision. My education and personal experiences have convinced me that nurture fosters growth.
While my office setting is conducive to effective therapeutic outcome, I also offer "Walk Therapy" which is the best of both worlds - talk therapy and gentle physical exercise. For some, talk therapy combined with a peaceful walk outdoors may provide the ultimate therapeutic atmosphere, encouraging mind and body in motion. The natural world can heal.
