It takes strength and courage to accept when one can't handle parts of life, and so, I commend you. As a therapist, I accompany clients exactly where they are while offering empathy, unconditional acceptance, respect without any judgement, and open communication in order to build a safe and inviting counseling environment. I believe each client brings a set of unique morals, values, beliefs, and strengths which makes each person who they are. I handle ALL issues from adolescent to elderly with individuals, couples, and families, but particularly Infertility, Miscarriage, IVF, Child Loss, Adoption/Fostering, & Missionary Re-Entry.
Counseling is client-centered, focusing on feelings, understanding history, identifying healthy and unhealthy patterns, and acknowledging adjustments to reach a more fulfilling, empowering, and purposeful life. My approach as a counselor has a foundation in Christ's teachings about spiritual, emotional, and physical companionships found in Ecclesiastes 4:9-1
Having a Pre-Medical Bachelor's degree with 5 years experience in the medical field, has given me a knowledge base in serving clients with Chronic Illnesses. Also, as a Missionary in South Africa I desire helping those who are re-adjusting to life back home, "Missionary Re-Entry."
