Are you looking for a safe place to talk about the things you have experienced in the past or are currently experiencing? Are you looking for ways to manage stress, anxiety, depression, etc. There are various reasons people come to therapy. Each journey is personal and should be individualized based on what the client's needs are. Therapy can be beneficial for everyone. Even if you're not sure what you want to get out of therapy, let's talk and we can figure it out together.
This is Zara! She is usually in the office but you will rarely see or hear her unless you want to.
All of my life experiences have led to how I work with my clients. My primary theoretical orientation is Choice Theory, which focuses on supporting, encouraging, listening, accepting, trusting, respecting and negotiating differences. Validating clients and their experiences is an important part in building the therapeutic process.
Since my practice is only Telehealth, I am currently working with adults ages 18 and older. I believe in allowing clients to work at their own pace and provide a safe environment to heal and grow. I believe in allowing clients to be their authentic selves including those in the LGBTQ+ community.
