I specialize in neurodiversity-affirming assessments for autism, ADHD and mental health for children and adults. Clients often come to me seeking testing for the first time or as a second opinion after feeling misunderstood by other clinicians. My goal is to understand more about your unique lived experience and neurodivergence, get you the right diagnosis, and help you get connected with the resources that you need.

I am a pre-licensed psychologist who has experience providing outpatient psychotherapy across the lifespan, and I have worked in intensive outpatient settings with adolescents and adults. My specialties include the treatment of anxiety disorders (generalized, social, panic, phobias) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). I also offer services for depression, life transitions and adjustments, emotion dysregulation, relational concerns, and parent training. My doctoral education and training were both completed at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist providing outpatient psychotherapy across the lifespan. My specialties include the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders (body dysmorphia, hair pulling, skin picking, tics), and anxiety disorders (generalized, social, separation, selective mutism, panic, phobias, illness). Services are also provided for depression, adjustment concerns, disruptive behavior, emotion dysregulation, and life transitions. My doctoral education and training were completed at Vanderbilt University.

We specialize in high masking autism and understand the unique presentations of autistic women/girls as well as profiles like pathological demand avoidance (PDA). Our evaluations are comprehensive and consider all possible mental health diagnoses - this is what sets our evaluations apart from others who offer psychological testing testing!

After a brief stint as a touring musician and 20 years in the equipment finance industry, I finally found my perfect work-fit: helping families find healing from previous hurts, cope and move through current life difficulties, and prepare for a healthy future. My goal with clients is to empower them and give them tools to meet their goals, so that they can autonomously use these skills.

I have over 50 years experience in mental health and substance abuse counseling. I am certified in distance counseling and TN law now requires insurance coverage. I work with anxiety disorders, including panic attacks, PTSD, and phobias; depression and bipolar disorders; all kinds of substance abuse disorders; parenting problems; marital problems and couples counseling, including LGBT issues. I am retired from the U.S. Army, and am familiar with the problems of being in both military and law enforcement professions.

There is a stigma that seeking counseling is weak or only for those who are going through “really hard things” - both of those statements are simply not true. Taking time to focus on who you are and pouring into your mental health is a great way to love yourself. With that being said, it takes a great amount of vulnerability, humility, courage, and hope to open up to someone about things you may have never talked to anyone about before. My desire as a counselor is to build trust and help you feel safe and comfortable as we work together.
