Village Counseling Services is a professional group that provides support services to the independently licensed psychologists, psychotherapists and board-certified psychiatrists, who have been providing client-centered, evidence-based treatment to the greater Lawrenceville/Princeton community since 1996.

At Compass Counseling and Psychotherapy, LLC our ideal clients are those who are receptive to working together as a team. The clients do not have to love or like therapy but should in some small way be focused on wanting to get some relief for the issue. With over four decades of experience as a Licensed Psychologist, Dr. Lentchner brings a broad and varied experience to the therapeutic relationship. Although he has studied and utilized many theoretical outlooks and techniques, he believes strongly in shaping his methodology around the needs of his clients rather than attempting to mold the clients into his theoretical formulations.

I am a depression and anxiety therapist in New Jersey. I am dedicated to providing personalized care that addresses the needs of my patients and aims to create a therapeutic environment that is supportive and comfortable. Furthermore, I am committed to providing the best care possible for each of my patients and strive to create a healing and supportive environment. As a result, many of my patients have referred friends and family members to me, which is an additional testament to my excellence.

I take an individual approach to each client, tailoring my methods to a persons needs and issues. I use cognitive behavioral techniques to help my clients manage their issues (i.e. anxieties, relationships etc.) by changing counterproductive thought patterns. There are times in all of our lives when we could use some extra support. Lisa received her Master’s in Counseling at Montclair University. She’s worked in various positions in the field utilizing her counseling skills and innate problem solving abilities as a Guidance Counselor, a Crisis Counselor, Substance Abuse Counselor, and an In home counselor for the last 15 years where she has molded and guided at risk youth in crisis. Lisa holds certifications in: Eye Movement and Densitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy (Ct.H), National Board-Certified Counselor (NCC), Mind/Body Personal Trainer, Certified Hatha Yoga Instructor, and CANS certified SNA (NA/BPS).

I am a psychologist (Ph.D.), I have over 21 years of experience and have worked with a diverse population on a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, Post-traumatic stress disorder, marital/family conflict and stress,ADHD in childs and adults,adolescent mental health,neurotic dieseases and psychotic disorders,traumatic events,phobias. Specialized on chronic stress-related psychological and problems like vaginismus,sexual problems and physiological illnesses like cardio-vascular.
