Now accepting new clients - Through over twenty-five years of experience in the human service field I understand our struggles in life can be difficult and lonely. I have found that connection, laughter and a warm smile can be the key to healing. I strive to provide compassionate care to those learning to heal, and I have experience treating: men's issues, parenting issues, anxiety, depression, trauma stemming from childhood and interpersonal relationships, grief and loss, marriage/relationship difficulties, eating disorders/disordered eating, and weight loss related challenges.
I am an LLMSW mental health therapist trained in: cognitive processing therapy, dialectical behavior therapy informed treatment, cognitive behavioral therapy, and emotionally focused therapy for couples and families. I also use the concepts of motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and sand trays to help clients reach their goals.
