I have experience working with clients who are seeking to find and heal themselves after suffering trauma of any kind. I am certified in trauma focused therapy (Narrative Exposure Therapy) which is neurologically based and proven to help trauma victims. I also have experience working with families in helping them resolve issues both as a result of trauma or substance use.
Besides being certified in trauma focused therapy (NET), I am also trained in play therapy, DBT, and sex therapy. I have worked with a wide range of clientele (individual, couple, families) and work to help each member in the family system feel included, heard and contributing towards the healing of the system.
I understand that therapy can feel intimidating and almost everyone feels anxious regarding sharing with a stranger. However, in the isolated world we currently live in, therapy is a necessity.
