The practice is owned by Dr. Jessica Joyce, PsyD and the practice is comprised of doctoral-level psychologists and several other master's and doctoral level licensed clinicians who provide quality mental health care. As a mental health collective, we assist members by providing therapy, assessment, counseling and more. We help our clients to connect with one of our doctors who can meet their needs and is available online or in-person. Our clinicians work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and seniors for assessment and psychotherapy.

You know how it is possible to get lost when you are walking in a dense forest and don’t have a compass or a map to use as a guide? Well, I help individuals, couples, and families who are feeling lost and confused by functioning as a guide for them. Together, we develop reference points such as how you can build skills, adapt and adjust to stressors, set house rules, talk to each other, and resolve conflicts.

I believe in the innate capacity of human beings to find their own answers, and I see my role as helping to facilitate that process. I enjoy helping people find their own strengths and develop and fine tune their growth. My style is fundamentally humanistic, and I believe that encouragement is at the root of growth and healing. Helping clients to recognize patterns in their lives can also be beneficial. My background in rehabilitation counseling has enabled me to work with adults with a wide variety of disabilities. My personal experiences also enable me to help others with the emotional aspects of serious medical issues.

We are a group of counselors with different skills, specialties, and credentials. We strive to have a clinician suited for each and every client who contacts us. We are happy to check your insurance benefits prior to your visit. All of our clinicians are trauma-informed and trained in either TF-CBT or EMDR. We help clients as young as five through retirement age. We are conveniently located in the Riverwalk Business Park. We are 2 miles from Bluffton in the Okatie area of Ridgeland.

My 50 years of experience in the behavioral change and personal growth and potential field has afforded many experiences in many facilities, currently a private practice setting. My therapeutic approach is multifaceted, focused on solutions. Psychophysiology is another area of emphasis for me and I address this with Biofeedback, Neurofeedback and Passive Infrared Hemoencephalogrophy, procedures effective for anxiety, stress mangaement, chronic pain, ADD, and optimal performance.

I have worked with children with special needs, adults with developmental disabilities, the LGBTQ+ community, those with substance use issues, and more. I have worked to ensure that I am a well-rounded therapist who can draw from my experiences across multiple settings.
