My 50 years of experience in the behavioral change and personal growth and potential field has afforded many experiences in many facilities, currently a private practice setting. My therapeutic approach is multifaceted, focused on solutions. Psychophysiology is another area of emphasis for me and I address this with Biofeedback, Neurofeedback and Passive Infrared Hemoencephalogrophy, procedures effective for anxiety, stress mangaement, chronic pain, ADD, and optimal performance.
I have been using biofeedback and EEG Biofeedback for the last 17 years, which have created very significant changes in my patients. Biofeedback consists of using instruments to provide feedback about a person's physiology enabling a person to manage stress by becoming more adept at recognizing and learning to modulate biological functions.
Biofeedback and neurofeedback allows patients/clients to learn how to regulate their physiology and to take responsibility for their emotions and behaviors.EEG biofeedback allows patients to improve attention, focus, concentration, to reduce anxiety, improve mood, and reduce stress by changing brain-wave frequencies. It is also being utilized very effectively for trauma.
