Because of my work in child-welfare and adoption, I also specialize in trauma-related struggles in adults & children, as well as behavior management and positive parenting.

This concept of a well-lived life needs to incorporate all aspects of an individual: their mind, body and environment. When that balance has been disrupted, emotional pain and physical maladies can occur.

I am a clinical psychologist with 30 years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. I specialize in working with neuro-diverse children and adolescents including those with autism spectrum conditions, AD/HD, anxiety, behavioral, and executive functioning challenges. I conduct diagnostic clinical psychological evaluations to assess for the presence of autism, AD/HD, anxiety and other childhood disorders. I also conduct autism evaluations for adults. I administer developmental and intellectual assessments as well.

They might feel "stuck" and want relief fast, but are willing to examine how they got here. We focus on strengths, what they've done that is working, and self-care (whole person) as a priority. Relationships are important to them as is learning how to communicate and set boundaries effectively.
