Limiting NEW clients to those seeking group counseling. Those seeking Eating Disorder Group treatment can be seen individually; if only interested in individuals, I can put you on my waiting list. Mental Health Support and Wellness group is open; I'm unable to take on individuals seeking individual general mental health counseling. Therapy is an opportunity for you to have support in taking a look at your life and yourself to make a change. Taking a new approach to face your challenges requires courage. I believe that allowing yourself to connect with others, such as in a group, can be an invaluable part of the healing process.

I have expertise treating bulimia, anorexia, binge eating, weight shame, and chronic dieting; ARFID is not my strongest skill set. The Eating Disorder group is a place to share and grow with other individuals struggling with a poor relationship to food and body. We concurrently address underlying depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use recovery, etc.

I seek to help both of us understand your situation. We will go at your pace. I will offer tools. I have a collaborative approach with my clients, so I invite your feedback about what is working and what might not be. Whether this is your first time in counseling or something you’ve tried many times in your life, I’m excited to take this journey with you.

Eating Disorder Therapy Group

This flexible group is open to adults and older teens of any gender suffering from a disordered relationship with food and body. Issues may include Binge-Eating Disorder, Anorexia, Bulimia, chronic dieting, compulsive overeating, or other related symptoms. For individuals who need more support than individual counseling alone can provide, the additional tools and structure of a group can help make recovery a reality. These therapeutic meetings are an opportunity to connect with people who have similar challenges, experiences, and goals. Clients are typically encouraged to establish a dietitian and coordinate care with a primary care physician.

This group is an opportunity to learn and practice social skills as well as expand knowledge of mental illness and coping strategies. Open to individuals interested in support for issues related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, loneliness, health conditions, or other life stressors. Group therapy is a source of mutual support and understanding. Emotional pain often leads us to isolate and worsens our condition. Connecting with others is an essential part of wellness. This group is in-person and open.
