I have provided assessment and treatment for a number of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, personality disorders, cognitive disorders, and the like.

I have worked in mental health for 13 years and have found my passion counseling adolescents and young adults. For the past 11 years, I have had the privilege of working at Children's Hospital where I specialized in crisis work, as well as outpatient and inpatient behavioral services. My experience includes a wide range of mood and personality disorders, suicidal tendencies, self-harming behaviors, anxiety, depression, psychosis, aggression, emotional distress, trauma and abuse. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, emotional support and the LGBTQ+ community.

As a clinician in the field for over 7 years, I have been proud to serve individuals and families with a variety of issues. Over the years I have worked with many people dealing with depression (incl: postpartum), anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, military issues, PTSD, anger, couples/relational issues, child and adolescent issues, stage of life or adjustment issues, gender or sexuality issues, chronic pain, grief and loss, personality disorders, and substance abuse issues. My clientele range from ages 7 up to people in their 80s and have included a great diversity of cultures.

My goals in therapy are to collaborate with my clients to help them reach their full potential and to improve their quality world. I look at my clients holistically and do not define them by the symptoms that led them to therapy. I am a Certified Sex Therapist recognized through AASECT, and work with clients on topics related to sexual identity/orientation, relationship structures, sexual dysfunctions, and kink/BDSM. I also work with clients addressing concerns including depression, anxiety, life transitions, and older adulthood/lifestyle changes.
