I have over 35 years experience as a clinical psychologist. I work primarily with individual adults but also have considerable experience working with children and adolescents. My focus is forming a trusting relationship in which together we work to improve your own sense of well being as well as connection to others. Above all I view our work as collaborative and mutually respectful. Clients have described me as highly empathetic, while helping them to achieve real life goals. I work with depression, anxiety, trauma, intimacy, health, and habit disorders including addictions.

I specialize in numerous issues but especially children and teens. I believe in working with my patients. When you come to my office you are trusting me with your life or your child's life. I want to work as a team and for you to ask questions as needed. Most people are coming to therapy for stressful reasons and I am ready to help I treat everyone I work with like a family member. But I am kind and get the job done because that is why you came to me. I look forward to working with you.

I believe deeply that every person has the ability to work through loss, sadness, anxiety and other painful experiences to become more fully alive. When we avoid or numb uncomfortable or difficult feelings, we also numb our ability to feel joy, peace of mind, gratitude and love. I am a licensed clinical counselor who specializes in dance movement therapy. I hold a graduate certificate in Laban Movement Analysis, which offers another world of possibilities for methods of healing. While working in the field of psychotherapy I have had the privilege to experience many different types of populations with various and usually multiple presenting issues. My specialized training allows me to see and listen to my clients in a unique way. As your therapist I am here to witness you in this part of your life journey, while helping to maintain a safe space around you as you grow.

Bill Fox is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California who has been practicing since 1998. He has a Masters in Social Work. Bill has decades of experience in hospitals, prisons, and with parolees in private practice. He offers psychodynamic/neuropsychiatric point of view, good active listening, and compassion. Bill is excellent at boundary maintenance and understanding. Outside of work, Bill enjoys music, piano, ocean kayaking, hiking, and poetry.
