I have been working in mental health for over 15 years providing psychotherapy, supportive counseling and grief counseling. I believe in the strength of the human spirit and I view the client as the expert in their journey to wellness. I hold strength in the statement "I can walk with you but I cannot walk for you".

I specialize in the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, relational conflict, struggles in parenting, and attachment concerns. I have worked with clients around adoption and relational loss and am passionate about working with adults and teens experiencing intense emotions. I have a diverse background, having worked with children, adolescents, adults and whole families, survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse, and at-risk youth. I am a member of the ACA and the Association for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Issues in Counseling, and take special interest in supporting the LGBTQ+ community.

I specialize in Trauma treatment for adults, children, adolescents, couples and families. Trauma affects all areas of one's life in pervasive and sometimes unexpected ways. I enjoy helping people identify how past events continue to play a part in current patterns, and to work on new and healthy ways of responding to stressors. Other specializations include treating victims of childhood sexual abuse, Dissociative Identity Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder. I enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, children, adolescents, and couples, and working with families to better understand and support their LGBTQIA+ loved ones.

Hello! I am a recent graduate working towards becoming a licensed professional therapist (LPC). Within the coming months, I will be a licensed associate professional counselor. I have been working in the mental health field with children since obtaining my bachelor's in 2020. I have had experience as an intern at Susquehanna University for a year in the counseling center, in addition to a year with Connections Relational Therapy. At Susquehanna, I enjoyed working with the neurodiversity group. I enjoy working with clients who have anxiety and relationship concerns.

However, I also help folks from all walks of life reduce their emotional suffering and achieve their goals. You have/wonder about ADHD or Autism, or maybe people tell you that you should, but what does that really mean? I can help you understand what this means for you; how impacts you, and what this might mean in relationships. This might include work on planning, executive functioning, burnout, working on personal goal setting/finding direction, or a diagnostic evaluation. You'll have a safe place to be yourself, insight into your life, and concrete tips for moving forward, allowing you to be you.
