Her treatment of those with loved ones who suffer from substances use issues challenges individual thought processes and family patterns that keep people vulnerable to addiction. Kim has personal and professional experience and training to work with families formed through foster and kinship care and adoption. She can help you to define what you want in your relationships to help create lasting and rewarding relationships. Kim practices from an approach to therapy that considers relational dynamics.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults seeking therapeutic treatment and psychological evaluations. The goal of treatment is to assist the individual in actualizing their potential through a strengths-based approach to cognitive behavioral techniques. It's important that each person understands their worth and utilizes the tools learned in therapy in their daily lives. In addition to individual therapy, I am also able to offer diagnostic evaluations and psychological testing as a means to understand complex issues and formulate the most appropriate treatment plan for each individual.

I have worked in a variety of mental health settings throughout my career and I have extensive experience working with children, teens, and adults with a wide range of mental health disorders. I have several years of experience working with individuals with drug and alcohol addictions, including those who use medication-assisted therapies. I enjoy working with clients with a variety of diagnoses including depression, anxiety, and personality disorders. I believe there is hope for any mental health challenge.
