Through a relational approach, my aim is to meet people where they are and work towards greater clarity and freedom from the pain and fear we have experienced. I believe in the power of relationship, especially the one we have with ourselves, to help us heal, grow, and discover how to be intentional about the kind of life we want to live. I approach the work with compassion and an open heart, inviting all parts of ourselves to be known and understood.

I have experience with various clients from diverse backgrounds across a multitude of different settings. I have experience within child welfare, hospital, community mental health, and school settings. I primarily work with children/adolescents, adults, and families. I have a client-centered, solution focused approach to my practice. I assist clients to make positive life changes in order to keep moving forward towards life goals.

I work with folks anywhere in PA and have 15+ years of experience in treating OCD, trauma, and stressors around pregnancy, birth, and parenting, especially birth trauma and postpartum intrusive thoughts. I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), an evidence-based approach that emphasizes compassion, connection, and flexibility and harnesses what matters most to us to guide our goals and actions amidst the hard stuff of life. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Behavior Analyst, I also support parents supporting their children across development, OCD, anxiety, neurodivergence, and other needs.

It’s important to note that I’m not your “typical therapist” (I dye my hair bright colors, will curse with you during sessions, and actively compete in powerlifting).

I practice EMDR as a complete therapy. What does this mean for you? Through the process of therapy your brain and nervous system can get out of the feedback loop it’s been stuck in from relational patterns, traumas, and roadblocks and you can form the responses that you desire! As a therapist, I’m goal directed, intentional, creative, and warm. Outside of the therapy room—I’m wife, and mom to three tiny humans. I enjoy time with family and friends, working out, DIY projects, and time in my church community. I’ve been a therapist for over 7 years and love walking with clients through the journey of therapy.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who graduated with my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Kutztown University in 2016. My experience consists of working with children, teens, and adults, of varying presenting issues. During my career, I have also worked with individuals struggling with substance abuse in both outpatient and inpatient settings. I consider my therapeutic approach to be well-rounded, as I utilize the approach that I feel best meets the needs of the individual, family, or couple, to aid them in accomplishing their treatment goals.

I have a soft spot for people who are quirky and unconventional, as I am. I welcome free spirits and those who yearn to express their authentic selves. Life can be more satisfying when one lives for what brings joy, not approval. I love to work with people who already have some insight into their issues and are ready to explore their emotions, thoughts and behaviors in greater depth and try new behaviors - that's why I do so well counseling fellow therapists. I encourage my clients to experience and understand their emotions, rather than regarding feelings as nasty symptoms that they want to get rid of.

Rachel Kelly is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 14 years in the mental health and addictions field. Rachel works with adults who are seeking help for trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, Women’s issues, and life transitions. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Lock Haven University and received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Arcadia University.
