As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I work predominately with Adults 20+ who suffer from depression, anxiety, and other mental/behavioral health challenges such as low self-esteem, self-harm, emotional dysregulation, lack of mastery, low tolerance, suicidal ideation, and negative thinking patterns. I help clients identify their life worth living goals and move towards making changes, while also building a therapeutic relationship using empathy, collaboration, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness.

I help clients who are suffering from anxiety, OCD, hair pulling, social anxiety, phobias, PTSD, and traumatic events. I also provide CBT focused treatment for depression and generalized anxiety. If you are struggling with uncertainty, fear, or coping with a major life event- I'm here to help! I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety at the University of Pennsylvania and am currently employed as a trauma focused psychologist working with veterans within a VA setting.

Everyone faces some bumps on the road of life. Often times it is helpful to have someone besides friends or family to help fix the pot holes or navigate a new road. One of my strengths is creating a safe space through a non-judgmental attitude, being open minded, using humor, and basically keeping it real. By blending a focus on present day problems and any childhood issues we will work towards the goals you want to accomplish. Together we will focus on you making healthier choices, improving mood and self-esteem, and creating a better life balance.

My style of therapy is one of an eclectic approach that allows me to utilize appropriate interventions based on the needs of each person. I have worked with adolescents and adults in residential/crisis treatment centers, colleges, community mental health facilities, and substance use treatment centers. I have experience with clients diagnosed with severe mental illness, substance abuse, trauma, intellectual disabilities, anxiety, and interpersonal issues. I work with individuals ages 14 and up, who are either coming to therapy for the first time or would like to continue therapy to work on their personal goals.
