Our vision at Mind Matters Coaching, Counseling & Psychological Associates, LLC is to help bring growth, healing, and peace of mind to people who struggle with matters of the mind. We have caring, compassionate, experienced, credentialed, and licensed professionals who are both doctoral level psychologists and master's level clinicians. We provide individual, family, and couples counseling, life coaching, child and adolescent therapy, EMDR, educational, psychological, and forensic testing and evaluations, career coaching, and consultation for both individuals and businesses.

I am passionate about helping clients access their true selves and live their most abundant lives. I have specialized experience in working with foster families and children/adolescents as well as active duty military/veterans (and families), and issues including depression, anxiety, relationships, attachment, and childhood trauma.

I serve men of any age, adolescents, and women, and work with trauma, depression, anxiety, and grief issues. I also understand and work with clients who struggle with or seek help with spiritual and/or religious issues. I spent many years in business working with working with people from various cultural, ethnic, and economic backgrounds.

I have been practicing 11+ years in a variety of therapeutic settings. With utilizing these experiences I am able to meet my client's where they currently are and work towards success.

Life often feels stressful and overwhelming and can knock us off our feet before we know it. When this happens, strong emotions can overtake us and it can feel as if there is nowhere to turn. When nothing seems to be working, having someone to express your feelings to, who listens and hears you, can feel like a breath of fresh air.

My focus is on empowering clients on their journey towards cultivating greater self-acceptance, creating healthier and more fulfilling relationships, and achieving an alignment between their personal goals and choices. This collaborative journey of self-discovery and growth is guided by open and empathetic dialogue, allowing clients to live more authentic and meaningful lives. My practice addresses many types of client concerns and I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ clients. I provide gender assessments for medical affirmation referrals based on the WPATH Standards of Care, usually in one to two session.

I am a licensed clinical social worker who treats eating disorders, I have been in practice for the last seven years. I identify as an anti-diet therapist who utilizes intuitive eating principles to guide my practice. I believe that the foundation to healing is self esteem, food freedom, and body positivity. I am a HAES advocate and identify as a fat positive therapist. I have experience with anorexia, binge eating disorder, and bulimia. I use cognitive behavioral therapy to deconstruct and reframe negative thinking patterns.

I am not able to accept any new patients. I work with adults and seniors and have training and/or significant experience in diagnosing and treating most issues and disorders with the exception of drug/alcohol abuse. I treat people with 'life issues', the psychological version of the flu and people with more serious or complicated problems such as severe OCD, bi polar, eating disorders, and trauma--psychological version of pneumonia....and everything in between. My goal is to help people identify their problem, decide upon treatment goal(s), decide treatment options, and work together to achieve their goals.
