I am a licensed professional counselor in the states of Pennsylvania and Virginia, and am available via telehealth. I have a background in treating mood disorders, anxiety, substance use, and adjustment disorders.

My name is Tom Butts and I am fully licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to practice psychotherapy on an individual, couples and group basis. I am also board certified by the American Board of Clinical Social Workers. This license and certification work to inform you, the consumer, that I have gone above the professional standard of training to provide a quality service to you and our community.

With a wide range of experience working with LQBTQIA, neurodiverse and multicultural individuals and couples, I utilize an integrative approach to support a diverse population that allows me to meet everyone’s unique needs. I have specialized training in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and a certificate in Substance Abuse Counseling. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and art therapy into my practice. I have experience working with trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, body image issues, disordered eating, ADHD, autism spectrum, and a variety of addiction.

Harrison McCormick, MSW/BCD is a board-certified diplomate providing counseling on an advanced-standing level nationally. I am a licensed clinical social worker, having practiced psychotherapy with forty years experience. I participate in ongoing continuing education, keeping me current and updated so that I can provide an expertise to a myriad of problems. As a result, I can provide a wide range of invaluable skills and experience, depending on the problems, whether it be relationships, life crisis, a chronic problem, or health-related. I work with most insurance companies and private pay rate is $95 an hour.

Central Keystone Counseling is a therapy practice with easily accessible office space in downtown Williamsport, PA. We provide both in person and secure TeleHealth services. The practice is owned and operated by licensed psychologists, Dr. Brian Schurr and Dr. Kelly Kettlewell who have over 15 years of experience providing high quality and individualized outpatient services. We are proud to have a talented team of clinicians with varied clinical experiences/expertise making us uniquely equipped to address a variety of presenting concerns.

I have been a practicing psychotherapist for more than 40 years, 28 years of which have been at the doctoral level. I offer therapy to individuals, couples, and families in order to address a wide range of problems. I work with clients who suffer from depression, anxiety, mood disorders, relationship and family-of-origin problems. In addition to practicing at the Courtyard Counseling Center, I write and have lectured on marriage and family therapy. I taught therapy related courses at Bucknell University for 20 years, and at Temple University's Family Therapy Post-Graduate program in Harrisburg, PA.

NO CURRENT AVAILABILITY--I have been practicing psychotherapy in the Susquehanna Valley for over 12 years. I work with individuals, couples, and families on the problems they experience in their lives and relationships. My style is gentle and I encourage an environment that is open and supportive. I help clients to be comfortable and candid about their thoughts and feelings, and to make important emotional and behavioral changes that are positive for their lives and their families. In addition to conducting therapy, I am an adjunct professor of psychology at Susquehanna University.

I have been a counselor for a decade in PA prior to relocating from Brooklyn, NY where I worked in wellness coaching. I take an integrated clinical approach at how the mind and body are impacted by our environments and relationships. I am also a doctoral candidate at Shippensburg University in the Department of Counselor Education and am looking forward to leveling up to "Dr. Tom" by the end of 2024! I am also the Associate Director at Courtyard Counseling Center, LCC and am a consultant for organizations around various mental health subjects. My mission is to help create systems where everyone can thrive.
