I love what I do, and I know why I do it. Since 2007 my focus has been coming along side of people and assisting them with challenges they face in life to become the most authentic and genuine person they were meant to be. In my own journey I've come to accept and appreciate the gifts I've been given, even if they're seemingly unrelated. I love my work as a therapist and I will always be passionate about performing music. How the two coexist within me is the journey I'm on. My focus has been in becoming a better therapist each day ... but I also know I'll never stop playing guitar and performing music, it's part of who I am.

We are wired to connect with one another. And the nature of pain is that it can cause us to withdraw from those around us, including from ourselves. This is where I try to help; I take the art of listening seriously and recognize that being heard is a part of the therapy process. As a Licensed Professional Counselor I provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families. I have several years of experience working with a diverse array of people and have had the privilege to walk alongside people as they navigated a variety of life conditions and issues. I treat individuals that are dealing with such issues as anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, divorce recovery, grief and loss, ADHD, anger and conduct issues, trauma, substance use and abuse issues, gambling, sexual and process addictions, addict in the family issues, codependency, attachment issues, personality disorders, and spiritual conflicts.

My approach to counseling focuses on a holistic view of the person. As we work to resolve problematic thoughts, difficult emotions, or troubling behaviors, we will explore many areas of healthy living.

As a male therapist in the Stroudsburg and adjacent communities, I assist individuals with addressing the many challenges that persist in our environment, and that promote unexpected, overwhelming stress. I focus particularly on human behavior and the elements that we can control, to the extent that it allows the individual in need to hopefully reap the benefits of living a rewarding and fulfilling life. Historically, men are very resistant toward the counseling experience. I allay their anxiety by providing a friendly, non-judgmental setting for candid dialogue during the process.
