Theron is an LPC and member of the ACA and AACC. His preferred methods of counseling include narrative, cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered, psychodynamic, and motivational interviewing. He is certified in Prepare/Enrich for couples. He intentionally has an eclectic approach to counseling so he can be effective in caring for the whole person.
His training comes from a Christian influenced perspective, though individual clients get to choose how, and if, they want to integrate spirituality of any kind into their therapy. He also works extensively with people who are skeptical about faith and is adept at processing existential questions with empathy.
