Due to my own personal experience with childhood trauma, I work mostly with clients who have suffered trauma/PTSD. I also have experience working with those who have gone through or are going through a divorce, who are experiencing anxiety, and depression. I have a more collaborative approach. I tend to be more conversational and laid back. I am also very patient and will respect your timeframe. Not everyone wants to address the hard parts right away. I enjoy working with clients who are consistent and put in the work.

Welcome! My name is Jazmine and I am a licensed clinical social worker with Diaspora Therapy Group. I believe in providing individualized therapy unique to you and your needs. I use a solutions-focused, strengths-based approach to therapy, among other techniques, to really seek to learn and improve the outcomes of my patients. My experience is broad and includes outpatient care, non-profits, and educational systems. My background is very diverse and multi-cultural and I conduct therapy in Spanish, Farsi and French, aside from English. In therapy I combine Cognitive Therapy with a Spiritual perspective along with Stress Mangement and mindfulness techniques to help individuals grow and attain their full potential. I am a licensed MFT, and he founder and clinical director of San Diego Pain and Trauma Institute. I primarily work with patients who suffer from chronic pain or chronic illness.
