My therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that a supportive, safe, non-judgmental, empathic therapeutic relationship can be a most powerful catalyst for change, growth, and healing. I endeavor to create a safe holding space for my clients in which they feel seen, heard, known, supported, understood, and valued for who they are, no matter how they are. I operate from a person-centered frame, considering each individual the expert of their own, unique, lived, human experience. Together, I collaborate with my clients to create individualized treatment plans based on their concerns and integrating evidence based interventions.
Sometimes life's challenges prompt unavoidable suffering. In these instances, the ability to make meaning out of adversity can make a significant difference in both how we feel and how we move forward. I help my clients unpack their struggles in ways that make sense to them, cultivating greater awareness, understanding, and self-compassion in the process.
I support my clients in discovering, learning, and practicing more optimal ways of thinking, feeling, being, and relating. We all have an innate capacity for self-healing and transformation. I'd love to help you identify, cultivate, and use your unique strengths as we work through your struggles toward a more free, joyful, and healthy existence.
