As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an extensive background working with individuals and couples, I want to face those wounds with you and help you find the best part of yourself. And whether those wounds are mental health issues, past traumas, relationship or family issues and whether they impact you individually, as a couple, or as a family, a safe, therapeutic setting can help you heal those wounds and be the best you can possibly be, for yourself and for others.

Life's journey can be overwhelming. I am here to help. Within our nurturing relationship, we will examine thinking patterns that may be sabotaging your daily enjoyment. And, with a reframing of these thoughts, a fresh new perspective will light your path! My background includes a B.S. in psychology from the University of Illinois, Urbana/Champaign and an M.S.W. from Jane Addams College of Social Work, University of Illinois, Chicago, Illinois.

Much like Dumbledore, I strive to help my clients figure out how to turn on that light when faced with dark times. I like to meet my clients where they are at in life and work on goals that are important to them. With nearly 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, we can work together to help you become your best self.

As a therapist I have worked with many different populations with a wide range of presenting problems. When I am meeting with a new client I like to listen as they describe their goals, stressors, the things that brought them into therapy, and we build from there. I believe it is my job as a therapist to work as a support to my clients, life can get heavy and sometimes having someone to talk to, and problem solve with can truly lighten the load. I believe therapy provides an outlet for when things become just to much to power through on your own.

My mission is to make every client that enters my office feel safe and welcome. I seek to have my clients be their own unique person with a voice that is heard. I strive to help the client to not only solve the issue but get to the root of the problem so that clients can proceed in the right direction and advance toward a healthier and more productive future.

Delivering counseling services to families, couples and individuals for 22 years. Using creative techniques to meet the needs of each individual, family, or couple. Learning from each person I meet and the growth and experience I gain from them. The satisfaction I get from seeing these individuals as they accomplish their goals and become self reliant as well as how much they care for themselves beyond the therapeutic relationship is what I enjoy most.

Emotions can be confusing, relationships can be messy, and past experiences can negatively impact our present lives, but with proper coping strategies, we don’t have to remain stuck in maladaptive patterns. Change can be scary and people often remain frozen due to the fear of the unknown. Change and acceptance are two concepts that are diametrically opposed but with the right mind set they can actually work hand-in-hand in order to promote growth and healing.

I enjoy working with clients seeking help with substance abuse, depression, anxiety, LGBTQA+ issues, family issues and reintegration, and mindfulness.

We are a family oriented group practice comprised of several therapists with a variety of specialties, we offer in office, video and phone therapy sessions. We have therapists licensed in the following states: Indiana, Michigan, and Utah. We work with children, teens, adults and elderly adults in individual, couples, and family counseling. We work with substance abuse, trauma, grief, relationship issues, LGBTQ+, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and dealing with everyday issues and stress.
