Tierra considers herself to be a very psychoeducational therapist, meaning her clients can expect to learn both inside and outside of sessions with supplemental resources or homework materials. Family Village Counseling Center is a telehealth only mental health agency. We have multiple therapists with many years experience, offering services children, teens, families, adults and couples. Our therapists offer laid-back, flexible services, to allow you to feel more comfortable in connecting with a therapist that meets your therapeutic needs. We accept Medicaid and are in network with most major commercial insurance plans. We do offer private pay options for individuals and can explore payment plans or a sliding scale fee if needed.

I am experienced in techniques to help clients deal with anxiety such as thought stopping, reframing and mindfulness. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients to change thier automatic negative thoughts to positive thoughts. I encourage clients to focus on self care and help them develop a menu of coping skills to utilize in order to get through difficult times.
