I believe we sometimes struggle to figure things out/follow through with our decision to change due to both internal/external barriers. My role as a therapist is to support others by listening and helping them problem-solve in an empathetic and non-judgmental manner. We will work collaboratively to identify/utilize effective skills to break through the barriers in order to bring about lasting change. As a solution-focused therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating.

I can help you work towards an understanding and awareness about your concerns and dive into the root of the problem. I can help you discover the lens you are looking at things through and help find and define a new lens to look through.

I have an undergraduate degree from Charleston Southern University in Sociology and a Masters in Social Work from Wesleyan University. I have worked with adults, adolescents, children, and families for over 18 years. I specialize in depression, anxiety, PTSD, self-esteem issues, navigating conflict, boundary issues, and effective communication.

My therapeutic approach is person centered, supportive, positive and challenging to the point of helping you develop self-compassion, self-love and overall confidence. We all struggle from time to time and deserve a non-judgmental support person. If you are wanting to improve any aspect of your life, or to cope with trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, I am here to assist you as you work toward your goals. If you do not want to utilize insurance to cover sessions cost, my self-pay rate is $120 per session for individuals. I am in compliance with the No Surprise Act and will provide you with a Good Faith Estimate.

Lindsay is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Ohio. She graduated from the University of Southern California with her doctorate in social work where she is focused on the impact of social isolation. Lindsay’s experience includes working with clients of all ages and has worked at a women’s homeless shelter, K-8 schools, and a community-based agency. Additionally, she volunteered providing crisis counseling on a text-based platform. Before Lindsay’s social work career, she served 20 years in the United States Air Force. Lindsay is passionate about providing client-centered care to both children and adults.
