I began graduate school for Social Work at the University of Cincinnati, before completing a master's at the University of West Florida. I value a humanistic and client-centered approach by providing a warm, nonjudgmental environment. Using my trauma-informed care training, I empower clients to realize their innate goodness and potential so they can harness their own strengths and make positive changes.

Clara Ann Huffman is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Ohio who has been practicing since 2022. To all her future clients, Clara Ann looks forward to offering a safe space - to walk alongside one another through hardship. As a recent academic, Clara Ann further offers emerging techniques, a blend of historic and new theoretical perspectives, and a growing foundation of experience and knowledge. Alongside her passion for mental health and recovery, Clara Ann is an avid lover of nature, an emerging (slow) runner, and an amateur birder.

As a licensed professional clinical counselor I diagnose and treat individuals, adolescents, adults, couples, and families contending with a wide range of mental and emotional disorders, and specialize in men’s issues. I offer therapy for: depression, stress & anxiety, pastoral counseling, grief, certain phobias, co-dependency, types of trauma, anger management, spiritual formation, individuals hurt in relationships, and relational recovery. I do not counsel with individual women, only couples, pre-marital, married couples, and families in conflict. I also work with male adolescents and teen males with the parent’s participation.

I strive to provide a warm, supportive and non-judgmental environment for clients who are navigating difficult life transitions. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision designation (LISW-S) who enjoys working collaboratively with my clients to help them meet their self-defined goals.
