My Ideal Client is one who continuously struggles to understand why so many open wounds in their lives. One who wants their pains to be heard and their unclosed issues addressed. It may not be completely flushed out; however, during our time together I would like to support with various skills and interventions . My main focus throughout this entire process will be around supporting the client’s thoughts, feelings and overall understanding that comes attached to the hurt that has been a barrier in their lives. This is a journey of discovery and healing until goal/goals has been obtained.

As a Cuban-American, I am able to relate to and understand many Hispanic/Latino cultural norms. Furthermore, I have years of experience counseling individuals in the Black and Latino Community. I have firsthand experience with different mental health disorders as it has hit close to home, and I know how devastating it can be to those suffering and to the family. This is but one of the reasons I am passionate about therapy and its benefits. My strengths in counseling include a nonjudgmental approach that leads to notable progress and appropriate solutions for many different presenting problems.
