Jane has a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Prior to starting in the mental health field 6 years ago, Jane spent 27 years working in long term care and ran grief and loss and caregiver support groups. Jane also has experience working with the special needs population and has an adult son with Autism so she has personal experience advocating for this population and an understanding of the challenges faced by this population and their families.

My mission as a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor LCADC, is to see you free from the struggles of life situations without the use of alcohol and other drugs. Therapy is about opportunities and possibilities. Opportunities and possibilities are done with exploration, discovery, and destinations. I am the guide supporting someone to realize those opportunities and possibilities supporting the individual through their own exploration, discovery and destinations. This is done with a focus on the individual not theories. Instead, I am someone who uses creativity and flexibility within the theories to help connect with the individual. Without a healthy therapeutic relationship, the goals the individual wants to achieve in therapy will not be obtained. Therapy is about you, not theories.

My ideal client is someone courageous enough to open up and commit to engaging in the therapeutic journey. I resonate deeply with clients of any age dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, childhood trauma, and navigating the nuances of LGBTQIA+ experiences. My ideal client desires to rediscover their authentic self amidst life's challenges and aspires to develop coping strategies and foster personal growth. They aim to cultivate a deeper understanding of themselves, enhance daily living skills, improve relationships, and create a fulfilling life path aligned with their true identity and goals.

I I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a graduate from Rutger’s University. I am passionate about providing a space where you feel supported and understood. I believe in integration of the mind, body, spirit and community; combining holistic practices with the most effective research based treatment methods. My clinical experience includes working with anxiety/depression, oppositional defiant/conduct disorder, co occurring conditions, sexual behavior problems, substance abuse, emotional/physical/sexual abuse, trauma, family conflicts, self-esteem and anger management.

Jenna is a 27-year-old single Caucasian female. Jenna currently lives with a friend she met in high school. Jenna has two children, ages 5 and 9, but they are not in her custody. Jenna works part-time at McDonalds but wants to become a nurse. Jenna has difficulty staying employed and prioritizing her goals. Though she has been employed for three months, she is starting to feel like things are slowly falling apart as she tries to hold down her job, work on reunification with her children, and maintain the relationship she has been in for the past seven months.

My ideal client would be willing to work with me systemically, meaning someone willing to look beyond themselves and think, “Why is this happening?” instead of just thinking they are the problem. For example, if someone is coming in to work on depression and anxiety, my ideal client would be willing to explore the underlying issues contributing to the depression and anxiety instead of someone who is only looking for coping skills and such.
