I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working with clients since 1998. Through my experience with clients, I have been on a quest to find the most effective approaches to help make significant changes and feel empowered. I am a strong believer in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which gives specific tools and techniques to be successful and present in our daily lives. I have found that it is important to develop an understanding of ourselves through attention to our core beliefs and doing the work to understand the changes that occur through our experiences.

All of us, at one time or another, can struggle with life’s challenges. Sometimes we need a little help, guidance, or skills to overcome these obstacles. I believe in the importance of allowing others the space to tell their story, within a safe, calm, compassionate environment. As we all are different no single approach is right for everyone, therefore my practice method is integrative, evidenced-based practices, tempered with some creativity. I favor a combination of therapeutic approaches including Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Art Therapy.

Over time, the client becomes more in tune with themselves, their patterns, behaviors, and ways they would like to improve their life. Together with the client, we discover tools that empower them to become their best selves using both evidenced-based strategies and an understanding of their unique self.
