Hello, My Name is Kelsey Bisson, LCSW. I work at Balance and Thrive Mental Health Counseling and Psychoeducation Center. I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of NJ with 10 years of experience working closely with individuals, groups, and families. I specialize with adults across the lifespan with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and the effects of aging and illness on individuals and families, with specialized training in treating our older adult population and their caregivers.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, by the State Board of Marriage and Family Therapy Examiners of the State of New Jersey. I hold a Master degree in Clinical Counseling from William Paterson University. Providing a supportive and safe space for the process of healing to occur is of the utmost importance to me as a therapist. I serve adults who may be struggling with mood and/or personality disorders. Dr. Kim is a bilingual (Korean/English) clinical neuropsychologist and clinical psychologist. He has a private practice in Englewood. He works as a clinical director of Clinical Psychology Externship program in Korean Medical Program, Holy Name MC in Teaneck. He received his PhD in clinical psychology from Yeshiva University. He completed a clinical fellowship in Clinical Psychology at Yale University, Psychiatry Dept, and a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology and Cognitive Neuroscience at the Nathan Kline Institute (NKI) for Psychiatric Research, which is affiliated with the NY State Office of Mental Health.

Dr. Gail Canavan is an advanced practice nurse clinician with more than 30 years of experience in private practice treating adolescents and adults with mental health concerns including depression, panic and anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), drug and alcohol addiction, out of control sexual behavior, post-traumatic stress disorder (P.T.S.D.), eating disorders, and dementia. In addition to an integrative general psychotherapy and medication management practice, Dr. Canavan specializes in sex therapy and relationship dynamics, working with individuals and couples of all ages and sexual orientations.
