My diverse experience includes working with adults, children, teens, couples and families. I obtained my master’s in social work from Walden University. My greatest passion is bringing healing, hope, and safety to those that have suffered from traumatic and stressful experiences. I understand that these are very trying times for many people, especially, in dealing with life challenges. My approach to counseling is to use existentialism to assist the client in reaching their journey with the accountability and acceptance that they are unique and powerful. By using a collaboration of tools, the individual and myself are able to discover a pathway that requires hard work, but freedom in knowing that each step is celebrated. I value my client's journey as it is what has created their character, it is my desire to assist them to live life with purpose using their journey to succeed.

I have been a board-certified therapist since 2011 and am licensed to practice in North Carolina (in person & virtually- current immediate openings - BCBS/Aetna/Cigna/Self Pay) and Vermont (virtually - current immediate openings - Medicaid/Self Pay) . Most clients come to me with a variety of concerns related to Trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, addiction / substance use, divorce, grief, stress, self-esteem, relational / relationship issues, or life transitions. I work with adults (18+), my primary therapeutic tools are EMDR and CBT, and I like to curate therapy to the individual client and moment they are dealing with.
