Hello! I am a fully-licensed Psychologist with about 20 years of clinical experience treating children, teens, families, and adults. I specialize in treating anxiety and its related disorders. I use an evidence-based approach called cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which has been shown to be the most effective form of therapy for anxiety. I completed my doctoral training at West Virginia University, my internship at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, and a post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School.
Prior to joining Lumate, I served as a Clinical Psychologist in the USAF. I worked at every level of that organization, from providing therapy, to crafting MH policy, to consulting on the construction and launch of the military’s Behavioral Health Data Portal and Electronic Medical Record. I was proud to be one of only a handful of USAF child specialists.
