I have been practicing social work for the past 36 years with children, teens, and families. I started My career working for a youth residential care facility. This experience working with the child welfare and juvenile court system has taught me that most parents are doing the best job they know how to do. I spent the last 24 years working in the Michigan public school system with k-5 students. I have worked with students diagnosed with various emotional and developmental disorders during my tenure.
