My specialties are working with adults, 20y/o and older, coping with chronic illness, depression, bipolar, life transitions and difficult situations, which they, a friend/partner, or a family member are experiencing. Generally, each person and I begin by exploring the issues that has brought them to seek out my services. This exploration entails a joint effort that unfolds over time. A relationship is formed that helps us both to see more clearly how the individual is operating in their everyday life. It is through such an exploration that the individual begins to understand themselves, and, especially, their more intimate relating. I also believe that the person leads the treatment such that we will only go as far as each person desires. I can offer ideas, but, in the end, it is the individual who leads us.

I am a fully licensed clinical psychologist with specialized training in the modern behavior therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Nevada - Reno, where I was clinically trained by the developers of ACT and DBT. I currently work as a clinician and as a university professor and researcher; therefore, I am well-versed in empirical research regarding the effectiveness of existing treatment interventions. Furthermore, I continue to pursue training and research in new treatment interventions so that I can bring the highest level of quality care to my clients.

Dr Chidimma Ozor Commer is a Licensed Master Social Worker in Michigan who has been practicing since 2021. Dr Ozor Commer’s specialty is treating mental health concerns through individual therapy in a holistic manner, emphasizing trauma work utilizing various options of evidence-based psychotherapy. In addition, Dr Ozor Commer hopes to come alongside Black women, Black folks, members of the LGBTQ+ community, transracially adopted and displaced people, and those who have experienced spiritual abuse in their healing journeys.

Hello, my name is Alfred Mansour, a clinical neuropsychologist. Trained as a neuroscientist, I did research at the University of Michigan into the biological basis of disorders such as depression, anxiety, and schizophrenia.
