I work with a broad variety of issues, including anxiety, depression and panic attacks; couples and relationship issues; substance abuse and eating disorders; trauma and abuse; sexuality and gender issues; and questions of identity and personal development.

Now accepting new clients - Through over twenty-five years of experience in the human service field I understand our struggles in life can be difficult and lonely. I have found that connection, laughter and a warm smile can be the key to healing. I strive to provide compassionate care to those learning to heal, and I have experience treating: men's issues, parenting issues, anxiety, depression, trauma stemming from childhood and interpersonal relationships, grief and loss, marriage/relationship difficulties, eating disorders/disordered eating, and weight loss related challenges.

As a Social worker, Katie has over 15 years of experience in addictions, trauma, human trafficking, abuse, and other mental health concerns. Katie is a survivor and has a passion working with individuals of all gender and sexual identities who are current and former sex industry workers, including victims and survivors of human trafficking. Her specialty is working with teens and adults with behavioral, mental health, relationship, trauma and substance abuse concerns. Katie desires to provide a safe, private, and confidential environment where an individual is free to express their choices for counseling with unbiased consultation.

Hello. I have a passion for transforming challenging life issues with compassion, self-awareness and self love. My primary areas of interest include adolescents and adults who have difficulties with depression, anxiety, self-esteem and managing day to day stress. I also have experience working with adults who have a history of substance abuse. I believe that therapy is an influential journey that requires a partnership between both client and therapist. I incorporate a mindfulness approach to treatment and utilize acceptance and change strategies to help you reach your goals.
